Texas Markets Expand

Most Texas Markets Continue to Expand

Economic activity continues to expand in the Eleventh District – Dallas per the recently published Beige Book. Residential homes sales, apartment leasing and office demand continue to show strength in the DFW market, but activity in Houston is noted as tapering off with discounts on homes sale prices, apartment rents and office rents. On the other hand, in the financial service sector, CRE and C&I loan demand is noted as weak despite the strong real estate construction activity noted in the DFW market.
